Carey Olsen

Carey Olsen’s 26,000 sq. ft. office at Pavilion East in Cricket Square draws inspiration from boutique hotels, bringing a warmer, more hospitality-led approach to the traditional corporate workplace. Rich wood finishes, layered textures, sculptural lighting and comfortable lounge-style spaces create an environment that feels sophisticated and welcoming, while acoustic treatments and contemporary detailing support the practical needs of a busy law firm.

A key part of the design was creating a strong connection to Cayman. Working with local artist Tansy Maki, Frederick + McRae developed a bespoke art package featuring custom pieces throughout the office, from the dramatic reception installation to artwork inspired by the island’s landscape and natural environment. Together, the interiors and artwork give the space a distinct identity and sense of place.
